Non Woke Charities

Most Non Woke Charities

Non Woke Charities – Non-profits are critical to our country and society. The cause areas they serve are important; they often mean the difference between life and death for many of those they serve.  But how do we as a community address non-profit organizations who don’t adequately represent our values? Some of these organizations were created with real intent by good people.

But how can you find out which ones are still getting it right today? Non-woke charities are those that have yet to be enlightened by the social justice movement. They are not anti-racist, and they do not support LGBTQ+ rights. The following list will help you to avoid them in the future.

The JNF

The Jewish National Fund JNF is a non-profit organization that works to acquire and manage land in Israel. It was established in 1901 by the Fifth Zionist Congress to buy and develop land there, but they also manage the forests and parks in Israel, as well as plant trees. Most of their work focuses on planting trees around the country that will help prevent erosion and improve air quality. It’s an important cause, but it makes you wonder how much money they’re spending on fancy dinners for executives instead of devoting more time toward helping people who are actually struggling.

World Vision

World Vision is a Christian relief and development agency working in over 100 countries to end poverty and injustice. They claim to be non-political, non-religious, non-profit, and not connected with any government.

World Vision was accused of supporting white supremacy by hiring the founder of white supremacist website Stormfront to be its director of communications. It has been accused of supporting Israel after it was found that $2m from the charity went towards Israeli settlement building in the occupied territories.

UNICEF

UNICEF is a charity that works to improve the lives of children, providing them with access to education and healthcare. The organization also seeks to protect children from violence, exploitation and abuse.

UNICEF has been around for more than 60 years, having been founded in 1946 in response to the needs of children after World War II. Since its inception it has contributed over $8 billion directly into programs that help provide clean drinking water and sanitation facilities across African countries such as Kenya or Ethiopia; it responds when earthquakes hit Haiti or Nepal; and it works tirelessly toward achieving gender equality by advocating for children’s rights at every level of society – be it through legislation or community development projects focused on improving access to education.

UNHCR

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR is the United Nations refugee agency and works to protect refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons and displaced people. It does not itself directly provide humanitarian aid or immigration services.

It is not a charity but an organization that is part of the UN system. It has no legal authority to make laws or enforce them. The UNHCR often works with other agencies such as the International Organization for Migration IOM, Pan American Health Organization PAHO and World Health Organization among others in order to achieve its goals.
