The Woodford Folk Festival will not take place this year over the Christmas/New Year holiday. Lockdowns have much too serious of a financial impact on large-scale events. Although the organizers are very sad that Woodford Folk Festival will not be conducted for another year, they have invested their creative talents into the event “Bush time,” which will take place from December 27 to January 1, 2022. A 6-day community celebration, the Woodford Folk Festival has over 2000 artists and over 400 events. The festival offers a potentially wide range of activities for people of all ages, including music, theatre, cinema, and comedy.
All tickets must be purchased online through the Tickets website using a Mastercard, Visa, or Visa/Mastercard Debit Card. If you phone our office at 07 5496 1066 between 9 am and 5 pm AEST, Monday – Friday, we will do our best to assist you with purchasing tickets even if you do not have access to an internet computer. Please Note: Our secure online website will still accept credit cards.
An All-Day ticket is only good for one festival day. You can enter starting at 8:00 am on the day of your ticket and stay until the show’s end that night or the next morning (approx. 2 am). A potential season ticket is required to participate in early morning programs, such as yoga at 6 am. A season ticket is good for the whole festival, which runs from December 27, January 1, January 2.
The Woodford Folk Festival is a yearly music and arts event close to Woodford, a semi-rural town in Queensland, Australia, 72 km (45 mi) north of Brisbane. It is among Australia’s largest yearly cultural events of its kind. The festival attracts about 125,000 visitors annually. A total of 2000 performances and 438 events with local, national, and international visitors are scheduled. Every year, the celebration lasts six days and nights, from December 27 to January 1.
Artists perform in more than 25 different locations across the festival grounds, representing a diverse spectrum of performance genres, ethnicities, and styles. The festival features a wide range of potential entertainment in addition to musical performances, including circus, cabaret, comedy, street performances, workshops, debates, a Children’s Festival, and more. Restaurants, cafés, shops, clubs, street theatres, and parades adorn the streets. Customers of the festival are provided with Season and Overnight camping spaces, and most visitors remain for the whole week of events.
