1. Lost Paradise New Years Festival
Are you still planning your New Years party? If you don’t know yet how to end your 2019 and enter 2020 in style, be sure to check out the 2020 Lost Paradise Festival. 75 miles outside of Sydney in Glenworth Valley, New South Wales is the three-day festival to celebrate and start 2020 with top-notch entertainment and fun. 2. Wide Open Space
One of the top 2020 festivals in Central Australia is the Wide Open Space which is a three-day festival at the beginning of May 2020. An hour from Alice Springs ate the foot of MacDonnell Ranges you can get ready for the ultimate outback festival. It is one of Australia’s top musical festivals with a great vibe, excellent music and arts, workshops, marketplace with excellent delights, food and crafts. The 2020 WOS is the 11th festival and it will be held at the Ross River Resort. Tickets for the Wide Open Space 2020 festival will go on sale soon. 3. Santos Tour Down Under
The Santos Tour Down Under that started in 1999 is the southern hemisphere’s biggest cycling race. It is a major event as it is the start of the UCI World Tour 2020. The best riders and cycling teams in the worlds gather in Adelaide. Every year in January professional cycling teams race on streets of regional South Australia and Adelaide. The cream of the crop of female and male racers along with thousands of spectators and event participant gather at the largest cycling festival. A massive array of associated events and rides for adults and kids, live music, street parties and so much more to enjoy for eleven days in 2020.
4. Australian Open
From 20 January to 2nd February 2020 you should head to Olympic Boulevard in Melbourne! It is time for the thrilling Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2020. See the best tennis players in the world during two adrenalin-charged weeks. Every year gets better than the previous with more family-friendly entertainment and events, food and entertainment.

5. ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020
For the first time ever, Australia has been selected to host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. Five of the matches will be held in Canberra and the Manuka Oval will host the event of the best women’s teams in the world. Wednesday 26 February 2020 is the opening match and Australia who is the defending champions will be under the spotlight in Thursday 27 February. Be sure not to miss the best women in the world in Canberra in 2020.
6. Enlighten Festival
Canberra will shine brightly with creativity and culture for a full 17 days from 28 February to 15 March 2020 with the Enlighten Festival. Exclusive events and free performances, architectural projections, hot air balloons and soundtracks at Symphony in the Park. Fireworks, music, food and entertainment that nobody should miss out on.

7. 2020 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix
The Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix attracts the biggest stars in the world and the playground for the rich and famous. Come watch as the world’s fastest cars driven by the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton race up the world in Albert Park Australia. When you are ready for this star-studded event and motorsport fan, be sure to be at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit from 19 to 15 March 2020.
8. Sydney Royal Easter Show
At the Sydney Showgrounds at Sydney Olympic Park, the country gathers for the spectacular twelve-day Easter celebration. So much is on offer ranging from shopping, carnival fun, live entertainment, animal experiences, agricultural competitions and much more. Be at the showground from 3 April to 14 April 2020.
9. Byron Bay Bluesfest
From the ninth to the thirteenth of April 2020 will be an excellent line-up of top artists and bands. The 2020 band and artist line-up include Crowded House, Patti Smith and her Band, Dave Matthews Band, The Cat Empire, Xavier Rudd, Brandi Carlile, Frank Turner, Jenny Lewis, the Marcus King Band and many more. It is an annual Blues and Roots Festival over the Easter weekend with on-site camping. The location is just north of Byron Bay at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. The Byron Bay Bluesfest 2020 is the 31st festival for 2020.
10. Uluru Camel Cup 2020
It’s probably the only place in the world where you can watch a camel race and not just any race, but the annual Uluru Camel Cup. While it is one of the amazing events in Australia, it is also one of the most underrated events and festivals. It is a raucous weekend of great humour and fun, parties, activities and above all camel racing. The Uluru Camel cup is in its eight-year in 2020 and an event that should be on all Aussie’s travellers list. The last weekend in May 2020 it is the prime Outback Event.
