Wolverine, Played By Hugh Jackman, Will Return In Deadpool 3
With the release of Deadpool 3, which received a teaser video on Tuesday, Deadpool will officially enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds, who plays Wade Wilson, shared the clip resembling a real-world tease more than a teaser. Reynolds does, however, announce that Deadpool 3 is in the works and, more crucially, that Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine again in the movie.Â
Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, set off a Marvel-scale meltdown when he revealed the date for the third episode of his wildly popular humorous anti-hero story, Deadpool 3. The most ridiculous Marvel character to ever appear on television will return on September 6, 2024, for more crude humour.
The mercenary must be brought back to the MCU. Still, Reynolds admits on the audio that they have run out of ideas after working on the film for a while. Reynolds explains that they have one surprise up their sleeves when Hugh Jackman appears in the background. Reynolds soon extends an invitation to return to his most prominent part. The video then switches to the recognizable three-claw slash in the centre of the Deadpool emblem.

Along with The X-Men and The Fantastic Four, Deadpool was one of the characters licensed to 20th Century Fox over two decades ago. These superheroes and their super-teams might now join the cinematic world that Disney has been in charge of since 2009, thanks to Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox.
It appears that the Fox-Disney agreement, which was finalized in early 2019, before the creation of Deadpool 3. Deadpool 1 debuted in 2016, while Deadpool 2 followed in 2018. Both audiences and critics gave both movies favourable reviews. Reynolds said the deal had jeopardized the third film in 2018 when Disney completed its ownership.

This reintroduction of Jackman’s Wolverine is at least a bit unexpected. Logan, the grizzled old-man-Wolverine movie from 2017, is considered the character’s last departure, despite the actor having attempted and failed to abandon his most iconic persona several times. But it appears like Jackman just couldn’t resist taking the adamantium claws out again, especially since Reynolds and Feige were the ones who were extending the offer.
In 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Jackman and Reynolds faced up as Wolverine and Deadpool, but in very different roles. Deadpool will undoubtedly discuss the unpleasant incident in his upcoming movie.
Few further specifics regarding the Merc with a Mouth’s return to cinemas have been revealed. Still, it is anticipated that the movie will maintain its R rating. The project will be directed by Shawn Levy. He collaborated with Reynolds on Free Guy and Netflix’s The Adam Project. Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are anticipated to make a third appearance. As Reynolds previously stated, fans have much to expect that the upcoming movie will feature a “completely different approach.”
