The End of The World As We Know It

Essential Thing to Learn If The World is Gonna End

If 2020 virus outbreak has truly ended the world, and you somehow survived with the help from our previous guide, that means some years have gone by. The cities have fallen. The streets are dark and empty, buildings are in ruins. The only people left in the cities are probably criminals or even cannibals. It’s not safe for you anymore to stay at home with locked doors. So, you’re now most likely hiding somewhere in the wild. Completely alone. Maybe you’re with your family if you’re lucky. But you have no knowledge or skill to survive in nature’s harsh habitat unless you watched Bear Grylls a lot. So, how do you survive in the wilderness?

There are a few essential things you need to know before that happens. You must learn certain survival skills if you want to live by nature’s rules. Here’s everything you need to learn right now before it’s too late!

1. Starting a Fire

Sure, it looks easy when Bear Grylls does it, but even he sometimes carries a  magnesium flint stone which produces fire when rubbed with metal. This thing can even be bought online as a part of the survival kits. But let’s say you didn’t prepare when we warned you, and now you don’t have that useful little thing. And you think you can just strike two random stones together, create a spark, and you have a fire. Wrong. You need special types of rock, like the flint family of rocks, which includes quartz, chert, jasper, etc. Just make sure to sharpen the edges of the stones before striking them together. It’d be even better if you had some steal, but let’s assume that you don’t. You can also use Magnesium, which is a highly flammable mineral. Look at this short YouTube guide on how to start a fire with rocks.

2. Getting Clean Water

Nowadays it’s basically impossible to find pure drinkable water anywhere in nature. There are a few faraway places, but you’re probably not going to get that far before getting eaten by some wild animal. So, how do you get clean water? Well, the best way to purify water is to boil it. Obviously, to do that you first have to master the skill of creating fire. Or, if you read the article mentioned above, you’d have a much easier way to do that.

3. Getting Food

There’s no mystery to this one. You can either hunt or pick berries, just make sure they’re not poison berries. Here’s a video on how to make a hunting weapon and a list of edible veggies. Still, let’s hope you at least brought a knife with you.

4. Making Shelter

Even though in modern times we often forget, nature actually provides us with everything we need not just to survive, but to live. To build a shelter you’ll mostly need to use wood, sticks and moss. It does take a little bit of time, however, it’s not that complicated. Check out this video, it will tell you exactly how to do it.

So, now you know the basics of survival. But, just in case, reread this article and don’t forget to read the previous one. Oh, and one more thing – if you encounter a wild animal that’s much stronger than you, there are things you can do, like making eye contact, not running, spreading your arms to look bigger and more powerful, etc. But, honestly, if that does happen – it pretty much comes down to pure luck. So, good luck and happy apocalypse!
