History Of the Race:

The first Uluru Camel Cup was held on a Wednesday “Hump Day” in 2012 it was largely attended by local Yulara residents and was a huge success, the winning Camel was ‘Lazy Dazy’

Still managing to bring people all over the world to embrace the Race and each year Uluru Camel Cup Racing Club will donate part proceeds to charity whom they believe truly deserves it.

Friday:

Celebration start off at the Uluru Camel Farm on Friday night with live amusement and the valuable chance to offer on a most loved camel with local people at the exuberant camel cup Calcutta.

Saturday:

Race day starts with qualifying races followed by a thrilling Quarter Mile Flyer, Plate race and the Uluru camel cup itself.

The announcement of each race signalled a large wave of cheering spectators to the perimeter of the track and as the camels charged to the finished line an escalating roar of laughter filled the air.
