Mark Ramprakash

Mark Ramprakash is a former England Test cricketer who played for Middlesex and Surrey. He was a right-handed batsman and occasional wicketkeeper. His international career lasted from 1990 to 2001, during which time he scored over 8,000 runs in Tests but only two one day international hundreds.

Ramprakash began his first class cricket career with Middlesex in 1988 as an opening batsman before moving down the order after Andrew Strauss’s arrival at Lord’s in 1994.

Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis played for England between 1991 and 2000. He was banned from cricket in 2001 after testing positive for cocaine, but reinstated in 2005 and played for Middlesex until 2007. During this time, he also made several appearances on the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of 11 players each on a field at the centre of which is a pitch. The aim is to score more runs than the opposing team, although there are many other ways in which this can be achieved.

Graham Gooch

Graham Gooch is a former English cricketer who has played for Essex and England in 102 Tests. He holds the record for most appearances by an English player in One Day Internationals (ODIs), playing in 185 games during his career.

In his early days as a professional cricketer, Graham Gooch failed to make any impact because of his slow batting style but later on proved himself to be one of the best players in the world by scoring heavily both domestically and internationally over 15 years from 1977-1991.

Ben Hollioake

Ben Hollioake was an English cricketer who played for Surrey. He was born on 27 April 1975 in Perth Western Australia, but moved to England as a young boy. Ben Hollioake died on 4 March 2002 after being hit by a ball while batting in a match for Surrey against Hampshire.

Kevin Pietersen

Kevin Pietersen is a South African-born English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional wicketkeeper and fielder. He has played for the England cricket team since 2004, and has also played county cricket for Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Surrey.

In 2017, it was reported that Pietersen had smoked during his early days as a professional cricketer but quit after becoming conscious about his image.

Phil Tufnell

The former England cricketer Phil Tufnell is also known as a smoker. He was born on 27 December 1963 in Enfield, Middlesex, England. Tufnell was part of the English cricket team for many years and became one of the most important players for them during their success in the 1990s.

Tufnell made his Test debut against West Indies at Lord’s in 1985 and played both Tests against Australia during that summer where he took 5 wickets at 27 apiece with an economy rate of 2.21 runs per over. He played many more games before retiring from international action in 1999 due to injury problems: 72 Tests, 46 One Day Internationals and 8 Twenty20 International matches, 5 wickets.
