Early Start

  • He is the son of Tito Martinez, a truck driver, and Lysaurie Ocasio, a retired schoolteacher.
  • Bad Bunny often helped his mother with chores around the house while she listened to salsa, merengue, and ballads.
  • He has dreamed of being a singer since he was young and with that he attended church weekly to sing in the church choir until age 13.
  • Daddy Yankee and Héctor Lavoe were among the artists he became interested in after leaving the choir.

  • 2019: J Balvin and Bad Bunny collaborated on Oasis, an eight-song album
  • 2020: Shakira and Jennifer Lopez headlined the Super Bowl LIV halftime show, with Bad Bunny performing as a guest performer. He released the song “En Casita” on SoundCloud.
  • 2021: On Saturday Night Live, hosted by Regé-Jean Page, Bad Bunny performed “La Noche de Anoche” with Rosal*a.
  • 2022: Bad Bunny joined Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man Universe as lead for El Muerto, a film set in the Spider-Man Universe.
