The renowned Symphony of Angels is a performance by Australian rock legends The Angels. You will experience The Angels’ best masterpieces in this spectacular 20-song feast. Rick and John, two brothers, grew raised in Adelaide within a musically inclined family. They have always believed that their favorite rock songs will someday be enhanced with symphonic backing because of this youthful experience. The band and its arrangers have put forth a lot of effort to provide an intriguing orchestral backdrop for their successes.

Symphony of Angels is the finished product for fans. The force of The Angels hasn’t lessened 45 years after its formation, or as one admirer puts it, “45 years better.” The Brewster Brothers‘ unmatched guitar interplay, Sam Brewster and Nick Norton’s thudding rhythm section, and Dave Gleeson’s frenetic energy combine to create a powerful blend of threat and humor. The conductor, Rob John, also converses in both classical and rock languages.

Biography

Bernard “Doc” Neeson (lead vocals and bass), John Brewster (rhythm guitar and supporting vocals), Rick Brewster (lead guitar and backing vocals), and Charlie King (drums) established The Angels in Taperoo, a tiny beachfront suburb of Adelaide, in 1974 under the name The Keystone Angels. To allow Neeson to concentrate completely on singing, Chris Bailey took over the bassist position from King in 1976, and they shortened their moniker to just “The Angels.”

Their studio albums No Exit (1979), Dark Room (1980), Night Attack (1981), Two Minute Warning (1984), Howling (1986), and Beyond Salvation all peaked in the top 10 in Australia (1990). “No Secrets” from 1980, “Into the Heat” from 1981, “We Gotta Get Out of This Place” from 1987, “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again” from a live performance in 1988, “Let the Night Roll On,” and “Dogs Are Talking” are among their top 20 hits (both 1990).

The band has frequently said that they despise these names. However, recordings have been issued under the names Angel City and The Angels from Angel City in the foreign market to avoid legal issues with groups with the same name. In addition to Great White, who has recorded two of their songs, and Seattle grunge band Pearl Jam, among many others. The Angels have been noted as having impacted their sound. These bands also became friends and touring partners. Due to spinal problems acquired in a vehicle accident, Neeson departed the group in 1999 and split up the following year. Afterward, several bands played under the Angels moniker until April 2008, when the original line-up from the 1970s reassembled for a series of concerts until 2011, when Neeson and Bidstrup quit again.
