Early Start
- Athens, Georgia, is the hometown of Quavious Keyate Marshall.
- In 2009, Quavo was the starting quarterback for the football team at Berkmar High School. Previously, Quavo held the record of 28 passes completed in a game.
- Quavo dropped out of Berkmar before graduation despite finishing the football season for his senior year.
- As a group, Migos was formed in 2008 by Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset. It is believed that the three members are related and that Quavo’s mother raised them together. Offset is Quavo’s cousin, and Takeoff is Quavo’s uncle. The group was originally known as Polo Club
Career Journey
- 2013: Migos became popular after releasing their single “Versace”. Canadian rapper Drake remixed the song which soared to the Billboard Hot 100 chart top 99 spot and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs top 31 rank.
- 2017: Quavo appeared on “Go Off” on The Fate of the Furious: The Album along with Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott, which was golf certified by the RIAA. Quavo also released “Ice Tray” with Lil Yachty which made it to number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 in December of this year.
- 2018: Migos released Culture II. The “Workin Me” single peaked at 52 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Quavo’s highest charting single as a solo artist.
- 2019: Eurovision Song Contest featured Quavo’s song “Future” alongside Madonna.
