The Postmodern Jukebox has made a triumphant return! The Grand Reopening Tour, a time-twisting musical ensemble that places pop music in a time machine, will hit stages throughout the country in September. The pop/jazz sensation commemorated the new century early last year. Roaring 20s promises “the most amazing ’20s party this side of The Great Gatsby” to audiences across Australia and the rest of the world.
We all know what occurred after that. Postmodern Jukebox is officially here and ready to bring the Roaring Twenties back to life! PMJ will enthrall audiences once more with his Grand Reopening Tour. The Grand Reopening Tour will include an all-star cast of singers and musicians who will bring Bradlee’s generation-spanning compositions to life night after night.
Postmodern Jukebox Biography
Scott Bradlee launched Postmodern Jukebox in 2011 as a rotating musical collective identified by the initials PMJ. PMJ is noted for transforming popular contemporary music into historical genres, particularly early twentieth-century styles like swing and jazz. Postmodern Jukebox has over 1.4 billion views on YouTube and 5 million followers.
Postmodern Jukebox uploads a new video on YouTube every week. Although most of the scenes were shot in Bradlee’s living room initially, the sets grew increasingly ornate over time. From Lady Gaga and The Strokes to Katy Perry and the White Stripes, the band has covered various tunes. Postmodern Jukebox has featured 70 different artists and toured six continents since their origins as a small group of friends producing music in a basement in Queens, New York.
