She hosted both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton when they were running for president both times separately, has hosted many other political events over time including fundraisers benefiting both parties’ candidates during election season as well as other local organizations…even campaigning directly with them herself.

Oprah Winfrey is an American television host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history with nearly 40 million viewers per episode at its peak. Additionally, she has been listed as one of the most influential people in the world.
Oprah’s early life was marked by poverty; her mother died when she was young and she was raised primarily by her grandmother in rural Mississippi. While still in high school she became pregnant with a son who died shortly after birth; this event defined much of Oprah’s personal philosophy about adoption and children’s welfare.
Mindy Kaling is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She is best known for her role as Kelly Kapoor on the NBC sitcom The Office. Kaling also served as a co-executive producer on the show until season 7 when she left to create and star in her own Fox single-camera comedy series The Mindy Project. In 2018 she was cast as Ms Marvel Carol Danvers in the Captain Marvel movie alongside Brie Larson who plays Carol Danvers but has yet to be released.
