Who is John Mayer: John Clayton Mayer, born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with American decent. One of his successful hits was the single “Your Body Is a Wonderland” which gave him the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2003. Inside Wants Out was the title of his first extended play followed by his two multiplatinum studio albums—Room for Squares (2001) and Heavier Things (2003).
