Beabadoobee, the critically acclaimed and award-winning Gen Z star, will perform in Australia and New Zealand for the first time in promoting her upcoming second studio album Beatopia. Don’t miss her performance at one of the most beautiful locations in the country! Beabadoobee quickly established herself as one of the UK’s most fascinating young singer-songwriters, rewiring ’90s alt-rock for Gen Z on her first album Fake It Flowers and last year’s OUR EP. Beatopia, her second album inspired by the imaginary world she thought up as a 7-year-old, will be released in a few months. Beabadoobee is traveling to Australia for the first time to promote her forthcoming second album Beatopia, which will be released in September.
Beatrice Laus, better known by her stage name Beabadoobee (all lowercase), is a Filipino-British singer-songwriter. Under the indie label Dirty Hit, she published five extended plays between 2018 and 2021: Lice (2018), Patched Up (2018), and Our Extended Play (2019). Fake It Flowers, her maiden studio album, was released in October 2020 to tremendous praise. Beabadoobee toured with labelmates 1975 on various legs of their Music for Cars Tour and American singer Clairo on her Immunity Tour. She received the Radar Award at the 2020 NME Awards and was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Brit Awards. In an annual BBC poll of music reviewers, Sound of 2020, Beabadoobee was also tipped as a breakout performer for 2020.
Thongs and steel-capped shoes are not permitted. It is an all-ages event with general admission standing tickets. Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 15 and 17 are welcome to attend. Patrons under 14 should be accompanied by an adult, parent, or guardian. A limited quantity of All Ages tickets is still available. Those with an All Ages ticket will be in a limited-capacity unlicensed section on the mezzanine, while those with an 18+ ticket will be in a fully licensed area below the main floor. Parents or guardians must have an All Ages ticket to accompany youngsters in the unlicensed area.
Beabadoobee also debuted her enthralling new tune, “Talk,” backed by a high-octane video created by Alexandra Leese and Luke Casey and featuring 150 of Bea’s closest friends and admirers. Beatopia is Bea’s most accomplished effort to date, including 14 tracks in which she covers fuzzy rock, classing singer-songwriter, psychedelia, midwest emo, and unabashed pop while indisputably herself.
