A Christmas Poem – Sing Along
A Christmas Poem 2016 – Remember the Fallen. Written by David Peterson, the poem takes the journey through 2016 as we head towards the most precious day. We must remember the sacrifices our forefathers made to allow us to live the lives we live. Christmas is a time for peace and unity, harmony and positive spirit. The recent fallen in Germany must never be forgotten, what the evil that oozes as an enemy with-in can be defeated, we must stay strong and avoid percussion of the innocent.
A Christmas Poem – Remember the Fallen
Christmas comes but once a year
It brings much joy and festive cheer
It’s time to play, to drink and sing
For it’s our tradition, that we bring.
Through mass migration this year has changed
So many innocents hurt and slain
We welcome you with open arms,
In spite integration not always on the cards
Christmas is a time not for fear
It’s a time for fun and family here
Enjoy your time and fear not
Because our fallen won’t be forgot.
Out brother in arms in faraway lands
Thank you all for making a stand
If only more would stay and fight
The war would be won before the night
Refugees welcome we feel your pain
Heal you must take time to regain
But if you come to destroy our lands
Know this Christmas we make our stand.
A Christmas Poem – Remember the Fallen
Hope you enjoyed the poem, 2017 is a time for a change, this is the time we must unite. Welcoming those truly in need, offering support and integration, but we must not fool ourselves, few will come wishing to undertake evil deeds, and we must support our police, our communities and our families, also write to our local MP’s to ensure proper vetting.
