Max Ignatius Atlas Year Of Change Day 112
I woke up today eager to have a hearty breakfast. One thing I’ve been doing lately is drinking nothing but water along with most of my meals. I used to drink juice with my breakfast, but after realizing how much-added sugar is has, I decided to completely remove it from my diet. It was tough at first, but now I’m totally content with water being the sole beverage I drink (at least for the most part). It’s incredible how so much of what we deem essential can be removed from our lives without a problem.
I had a daunting amount of work on my plate for today. You should see just how chaotic my schedule looked! At first I focused on trying to breeze through my tasks as quickly as possible, but then I realized that I needed to do them all properly, no matter how long it took me. It you don’t get the job done right the first time, then you’re just going to have to do it again, so you might as well be thorough. I was exhausted by the end and had practically no free time to decompress, but at least I got everything done in a satisfactory manner.

I used to look at these pictures with shame, but know I’m proud of each and every one of them.
Tonight’s workout was pretty sluggish simply because I was so tired by the end of the day, but I still did a decent job. I kept dinner simple and made a salad, much to the chagrin of my children. I can’t say that I’m the biggest fan of salad either, but I really didn’t have the energy to do much else. If I’m content with eating salad for dinner, then you know I had a hard day’s work!

Today was extremely busy, but I prepared myself mentally for times like this. I feel like the biggest task is not the challenge itself, but the preparation that goes into it, which is one reason why I’ve been able to have a lot of successful days lately.
