World Food Day
World Food Day is celebrated every year on October 16. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) was founded on October 16, 1945, to mark the anniversary of that date. Many other hunger-related organizations, such as the World Food Programme, the World Health Organization, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development, also commemorate World Food Day.
