“Walking on the Moon” by the Police was where the name of the band was coined from.
Their single “Anna Sun” came from Petricca which was from a teacher’s name that sounded so good for him.
Petricca loves cats.

Shut Up and Dance

Length: 3:19

Release: 2014

Opening Lyrics:

Oh don’t you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me
I said you’re holding back
She said shut up and dance with me
This woman is my destiny
She said oh oh oh
Shut up and dance with me
We were victims of the night
The chemical, physical, kryptonite
Helpless to the bass and the fading light
Oh we were bound to get together
Bound to get together
She took my arm
I don’t know how it happened
We took the floor and she said

Anna Sun

Length: 5:21

Release: 2010

Opening Lyrics:

Screen falling off the door, door hanging off the hinges
My feet are still sore, my back’s on the fringes
We tore up the walls, we slept on couches
We lifted this house, we lifted this house
Firecrackers in the east, my car parked south
Your hands on my cheeks, your shoulder in my mouth
I was up against the wall on the west mezzanine
We rattle this town, we rattle this scene
Oh, Anna Sun
Oh, Anna Sun
What do you know, this house is falling apart
What can I say, this house is falling apart
We got no money but we got ha-heart
We’re gonna rattle this ghost town
This house is falling apart

One Foot

Length: 4:21

Release: 2017

Opening Lyrics:

Not a soul up ahead and nothing behind
There’s a desert in my blood and a storm in your eyes
Am I the king of nothing at all?
Then you’re the queen of nothing at all
Well I remember the fight and I forget the pain
I got my hand in your pocket and my key on your chain
Am I the king of nothing at all?
Then you’re the queen of nothing at all
Oh, through the wilderness
You and I we’re walking through the emptiness
Oh, my heart is a mess
Is it the only defense against the wilderness?
Cross my heart and hope to die
Taking this one step at a time
Got your back if you got mine

Lost In The Wild

Length: 3:55

Release: 2017

Opening Lyrics:

Eyelids split at sunrise
Morning breaks like splatter paint
Wipe the dust from my eyes
You must have left before morning came
Flashes of the night come rushing in
In a stampede of misbehaviors
Just a sophomore running my mouth
I really thought that I could save us
And we’re only animals
Didn’t mean to start a forest fire
Brush the ashes off your shoulders
Let’s get lost in the wild
We’re all built for something
Trying to find a starting line
Don’t look over your shoulders

Work This Body

Length: 2:55

Release: 2014

Opening Lyrics:

It was a strange place and a tender age
I was just a babe in school
Saw them roll their eyes at me
Every time that I thought that I was cool
Well uh God knows I was no chosen one
That just wasn’t my prime
Yeah it’s just matter of time, honey
It’s just a matter of time
And I will work this body
I will burn this flame
Oh in the dead of night
And in the pouring rain
Yeah, I’m a work-a-holic
And I swear, I swear
