About Nathan Englander
Nathan Englander was born in 1970 in Long Island, NY, and is a Jewish-American author. He published For the Relief of Unbearable Urges by Alfred A. Knopf in 1999. In 2000, Englander won the PEN/Faulkner Malamud Award and the American Academy of Arts and Letters Sue Kauffman Prize for the volume, which established him as an important writer of fiction.
