About Min Jin Lee

Pachinko (Feb 2017) was a national bestseller, a New York Times Editor’s Choice, and an American Booksellers Association Indie Next Great Read. The Times of London, NPR’s Fresh Air, and USA Today named Lee’s debut novel Free Food for Millionaires a Top 10 Novel of the Year; it was a New York Times Editor’s Choice, a Wall Street Journal Juggle Book Club selection, and a national bestseller.

As a student at Yale College, Min Jin won both the Henry Wright Prize for Nonfiction and the James Ashmun Veech Prize for Fiction. Before becoming a full-time writer, she studied law at Georgetown University and worked as a lawyer in New York.
