The Merimbula Jazz Festival
The managing committee is looking forward to the 40th Merimbula Jazz Festival in 2022. A remarkable accomplishment for a little ocean-side town in southern NSW! We are so lucky to have such a welcoming location, magnificent scenes, the continuous help of such countless performers, the strong base given by the festival’s originators, the help of nearby workers and patrons, and, obviously, the help of Jazz Lovers who came from all over. The festival will be held exclusively in the Merimbula venue.

Friday – Welcome night
Saturday morning – Street Parade at 11 am. Programmed blowing from midday
Sunday – Jazz breakfast and the Program from 12 am
Monday – Musicians Picnic day

Apparently, the last celebration in 2019 was an extraordinary melodic achievement, keeping up with the elevated expectations which we strive to accomplish. The arrangement and association put somewhere around the establishing Committee have functioned admirably for quite a long time. We attempt to keep up with the fundamental equation for this occasion, which has served us so effectively for such a long time, yet we will constantly look at potential enhancements.
Highlight For Bands/Musicians:
For those bands and artists arranging their most memorable performance, kindly note that we don’t pay bands to play, nor do we pay for travel and convenience. Bands register free of charge, yet musicians are expected to pay registration expenses, and consequently, we give a couple of vouchers. After the celebration, a little disbursement is generally repaid to the artists who performed.
