About Melanie Dickerson

Melanie Dickerson is a New York Times best-selling author, a two-time Christy Award finalist, a two-time Maggie Award winner, a Carol Award winner, and a two-time winner of Christian Retailing’s Best award. Her novel, The Healer’s Apprentice, won the National Readers Choice Award for Best First Book. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and the Romance Writers of America (RWA). Melanie earned a bachelor’s degree in special education of the hearing impaired from the University of Alabama and has taught in Georgia, Tennessee, and Ukraine. She lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband and two children.
