About Libbie Hawker
Born in Rexburg, Idaho, Libbie spent her childhood in Eastern Idaho’s rural environs and the greater Seattle area. She currently lives in Seattle, but has also lived in Salt Lake City, Utah; Bellingham, Washington; and Tacoma, Washington. Her writing is inspired by the bleak natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the fascinating history of the Puget Sound.
Three years after trying to break into the publishing industry under two different pen names, Libbie finally embraced independent publishing after turning her back on mainstream publishing. Her self-published fiction is now her full-time work, and she enjoys having complete control over the writing career she always dreamed of.
