Kings of Leon’s new tour dates have been confirmed for this year, and TEG Dainty is ecstatic! Fans won’t have to wait long. Songs from all eight of Kings of Leon’s albums were featured in the band’s recent North American tour set lists. The four-time Grammy Award-winning and the multi-Platinum-certified band has sold more than 20 million albums and almost 40 million singles worldwide.
Kings of Leon have cemented their standing as one of the world’s top rock acts, headlining bucket-list festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Berlin, Sao Paulo, and Santiago, to name a few, as well as a record-breaking four nights in London’s Hyde Park.
When You See Yourself Performance
The tour will now take place between late October and early November, promoting the band’s 2021 album ‘When You See Yourself.’ The band will now perform in the Sporting Precinct in Mildura, a small community in Victoria’s northwest, in addition to their already announced gigs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. A complete list of dates may be seen below. Caleb Followill, the band’s main vocalist and guitarist, stated his delight at the band’s return to Australia for the first time since 2013.
Last year, Kings Of Leon began touring in support of ‘When You See Yourself,’ but without lead guitarist Matthew Followill, who is taking time off to care for his newborn baby. However, the trip was cut short due to the death of Betty Ann Followill, the mother of Caleb, drummer Nathan, bassist Jared Followill, and Matthew’s aunt. In December 2021, the band resumed live concerts, rumored to be working on their ninth studio album.
Kings of Leon Biography
Kings of Leon is a rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, that started in 1999. Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill, together with their cousin Matthew Followill, make up the band. The band’s early music was a mix of Southern rock and garage rock with blues elements, but it has since developed to incorporate a wide range of genres and a more alternative, stadium rock feel. Kings of Leon had early success in the UK, with nine Top 40 songs and two BRIT Awards in 2008; all 3 albums reached the top five on the UK Albums Chart. Because of the Times, their third album also charted at number one.
