About Gary A. Braunbeck

Gary A. Braunbeck is a prolific author of mysteries, thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, horror, and mainstream literature. He is the author of 19 books, which have been translated into Japanese, French, Italian, Russian, and German. He has published nearly 200 short stories.

In 2003, he won the Bram Stoker Award for “Duty,” and in 2005, he won the Stoker Award for “We Now Pause for Station Identification.”; in 2006, he won the Stoker Award for Destinations Unknown. 2005, he received the International Horror Guild Award for his novella “Kiss of the Mudman.”
