Find Out the Top Movies about Gambling and Las Vegas

The 5 Best Gambling Movies

You are probably a fan of movies and gambling, and as it turns out – the two combine perfectly. Today, we bring you a list of five movies that we believe are cornerstone cinematic experiences that lean heavily on the gambling theme and recreate it for the big screen beautifully. You can watch these games while playing your favorite mobile roulette titles, like keybet roulette. But we assure you that if you give the five titles on this list a go, they will grip you and immerse you in a new world you thought didn’t exist.

21

21 is a movie about college students and their professor who decides to teach them how to count cards. All mathematical prodigies, the students decide to take a crack at Las Vegas’s biggest casinos. Why does it in teams? Well, counting cards is very hard and blackjack is a game that is highly lucrative – but also very much protected by the casino staff.

This is why the professor develops a strategy that involves several capable students who then go to Las Vegas and play the casinos like a fiddle. Of course, inner rivalries flare up, and soon trouble arrives when some of the crew members are recognized as card counters by security who are not in the mood to play cards.

Casino Royale

Casino Royale is one of the best James Bonds and, not surprisingly – one of the best movies about gambling as well. In this gripping game of poker – that the movie is about – Agent 007 will face off Le Chiffre in an attempt to stop him from raising funds for his nefarious affairs in a game of poker. Of course, there will be a lot of action between dealings of cards and an epic chase that will have 007 in a bad spot. Regardless of this, the game is actually a lot of fun if you love poker and gambling.

Ocean’s Eleven

Ocean’s Eleven is another great film about casinos – and less so about gambling. The plot is centered around the casino heist of the century. It’s a thrilling and gripping movie with George Clooney and Brad Pitt assuming the main roles in an attempt to get payback for Clooney’s character, whose wife is now dating a casino mogul. This is okay because Clooney has plans to make away with a lot of money from the man’s casino vaults.

Rounders

Rounders is the story of a young aspiring lawyer who loses at a game of poker. He then returns, mentored by a more experienced player, and mostly because a friend of his owes mafiosi a lot of money. Unable to help his friend other than try and win against the mafiosi in an epic game of poker, the young aspiring lawyer gives it his best shot – he succeeds, but the mafia has other plans, that is until one of the higher-ups begrudgingly acknowledges the defeat and makes for a happy ending.

Molly’s Game

Molly’s Game is a movie about Molly Bloom the woman who single-handedly orchestrated some of the biggest high-rolling games of poker in New York – and did so privately without anyone but those invited finding out. Her parties were attended by a number of people, including celebrities, movie stars, and other prominent figures from the country and the state’s elite.

Her tale is one that fascinates, and the movie was filmed by Aaron Sorkin, making it even more impressive and worthwhile. Bloom remains rather secretive and cautious in life, as she is represented in the movie.

After all, you need to be cautious if you want to run some of the most exclusive poker games and risk doing so while understanding that the law may have something to say about that. The movie is fantastic, though and you should definitely see it if you love poker and enjoy stories based on true events.
