The exact location of the Chinese Garden Of Friendship is Chinatown in the Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia.


The credit for the beautiful design of this garden goes to the architects from the Chinese sister city of Sydney, Guangzhou in China. Officially, the garden was opened in the year 1988 as a part of bicentennial celebrations of Sydney. The garden was named, the Chinese Garden Of Friendship. The name is a symbol of the friendly bond between Australia and China.
The garden has been popular and a favorite among the locals and tourists. The garden was also featured in a scene of the 20th Century Fox’s superhero movie Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie that was released in the year 1995.

The biggest of this garden is that, it re-creates China in the country of Australia. When you take a step in the garden, you totally forget that you are in Australia. The other attractions of the Chinese garden of friendship are the Courtyard of Welcoming Fragrance, Water Pavilion of Lotus Fragrance, Dragon Wall, Twin Pavilion, Rock Forest, The Gurr and the penjing collection (Chinese bonsai) of the garden. The pavilion inside the garden is way too beautiful.

If you are hungry, you can relish the Chinese tea along with dim sum in a Teahouse. The plants inside the garden are very exotic and pretty. Chatting with close friends on tea is the best thing you can do in the garden.
The garden is the best place if you are looking for solitude in the hustling and bustling location of the Darling Harbour. The garden beautifully combines the beauty of nature, Chinese tradition as well as Chinese architecture.

The garden remains open throughout the calendar from 9:30 am to 5 pm, except for the Christmas and Good Friday. The place is great to go with family and friends and have a good time  nature.
