Cathy Glass is a British author, freelance writer, and foster carer.
Her work falls into both the True Life Stories and Inspirational Memoirs genres, and she also wrote a parenting guide called Happy Kids, and a novel called The Girl in the Mirror.
Glass has been fostering children for more than 20 years, and she has fostered more than 50 of them. Several of the children who came into her care had suffered abuse. Her fostering memoirs tell their stories.
Its first title, Damaged, reached number 1 on both the hardback and paperback bestseller charts. Her next three titles, Hidden, Cut, and The Saddest Girl in the World, were similarly successful.
