David Cameron Hand Overs Resignation from Downing Street
Flanked by his wife and children, David Cameron made his last speech as the UK Prime Minister. He said that it was a great honour for him to have served as the Prime Minister.
His next step is to inform the Queen at Buckingham Palace about the decision. Her majesty will then appoint Theresa May as the first post-Brexit PM.
Mr. Cameron had earlier on taken his last PMSQs. He told the MPs that what he would miss most is the “crowd roar.”
When Mrs May takes over leadership, she will proceed to constitute her frontbench team.
In his speech outside Number 10, David Cameron said that he failed in some decisions. He went on to state that he believes that the country is much stronger.

Furthermore, the former Prime Minister wished Mrs May all the best and paid tribute to his wife Samantha and his children.
