All about a-haÂ
Who are a-ha: Norwegian synth-pop band, A-ha, was founded by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards and guitars), and Morten Harket (vocals). Their debut album Hunting High and Low in 1985. The band’s debut album peaked at number one in Norway, number two in the United Kingdom, and number 15 on the US Billboard albums chart; it produced two international number-one singles: “Take On Me” and “The Sun Always Shines on T.V.”, and earned the band a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist. The album went on to become one of the best-selling albums of 1986 in the UK. There were three studio albums released by the band in 1986, 1988, and 1990, with hits such as “Hunting High and Low”, “The Living Daylights”, “Stay on These Roads”, and “Crying in the Rain”.
