Early Start
- Golden Landis Von Jones was born to his mother Ashkenazi Jewish Kimberly Landis while his father had an African-American Catholic decent, Torino Von Jones.
- Hanukkah and Christmas were celebrated in his family, and he attended Hebrew school.
- In middle school, 24kGoldn sang in the choir and acted in commercials
- It wasn’t until he realized that he could get into music professionally that he realized he could become a hedge fund manager.
Career Journey
- 2017: 24kGoldn launched his first music video which spawned “Trappers Anthem”, his first song.
- 2019: “Valentino”, which received over 100 million Spotify streams, was released.
- 2019: After signing with Records, LLC and Columbia Records, 24kGoldn released his debut extended play (EP), titled Dropped Outta College where he gained mainstream attention with the single, titled “City of Angels”.
- 2021: He released his first studio album, titled El Dorado which housed thirteen songs, covering Future, Iann Dior, Swae Lee and DaBaby guest appearances.
Awards & Recognition
- “Mood” (featuring Iann Dior) topped the Billboard Hot 100 and was platinum certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in April 2020.
