When we talk about Australian music circuit, we talk about the modern bands and musicians hailing from the heaven down under and making headlines worldwide by their hit singles and albums. Many musicians like Kylie Minogue, Sia, Nick Cave, Iggy Azalea, Gotye, Rick Springfield, Jimmy Barns, et cetera and bands like AC/DC, Midnight Oil, INXS, Jet, Wolfmother, Bee Gees, The Living End, et cetera have carved a niche for themselves across the globe and have given Australian music a recognition across the world, but there is another face of Australian music too, the Indigenous music.
The music of the Torres Strait Islanders and the Aboriginal Australians is collectively known as the Australian Indigenous Music. The Australian Indigenous music comprises of the traditional music style along with contemporary and European fusion.
